The (new) Sony Bravia ad spot is ---positively “abruptive”.
*** It’s also “single-minded”. You can read that as “pointedly focused”.
The Brief: “Color like no other”---Bravia LCD TVs offer unparalleled viewing
experiences !
In the ad spot…(all you SEE is)...an entire council block suddenly explodes into gigantic spurts of bright multi-colored paint. (((Choreographed suitably to Rossini's Thieving Magpie.)))
The film is about color …(period)…as you've never seen it.
Here the abruption is certainly “relevant”.
Heartening for any ad agency to have a client being bold enough to back---a creatively abruptive “idea”.

Talk about betting BIG on a BIG idea.
