Michael Sandel’s justice.

New Post (85) : Michael Sandel’s justice.

1. For those interested in ---moral reflection on the idea of “justice.

Prof. Michael Sandel challenges us with difficult moral dilemmas and asks our opinion about “the right thing to do”. He then asks us to examine our answers ---in the light of new scenarios.

He is quite simply put---amazing ! A great teacher…(my kind of’ teacher)

2. For some reason ...his brilliant lecture event in Japan (at the Tokyo University packed in with top students) that was telecast on NHK World TV reminded me…
…of another equally thought provoking book :
“Sanctions for Evil: Sources of Social Destructiveness”. Nevitt and Craig Comstock. Sanford (Author)

That book helps (helped me) understand “why what happened prior to and during the World war-2 did happen”.

Conclusion: ***The human capacity for injustice ---is shocking & bewildering !

We can post-rationalize just about “anything”. Cannibalism included.
